Red Wine
Portas da Herdade Reserva 2019, Alentejo, Portugal: From Companhia das Quintas, Portas da Herdade 2019 is a rich, robust and powerful red blend of Syrah, Trincadeira and Touriga Nacional wine grapes, and is great value at $20. Fragrant and floral on the nose, youthful on the palate with ripe dark fruit, dark cherry, anise and pepper spice flavours. Tannins are structured and grippy and the wine would benefit from another year in cellar to mellow and marry. Good now, better in 2023. Food pairings: slow-braised beef ribs, beef bourguignon, onion tarte. Drink: 2023 - 2030 404418 14% XD 750 mL $22.95 Score: 90/100. April 2024. Top Rated Red Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
Rosés
Invivo X SJP Vin de France Rosé 2022, France: From Sarah Jessica Parker, Invivo X Sjp 2022 is a great value, vegan-friendly, south of France rosé at $20. A lovely, fresh and fruity blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah grapes that were whole-bunch and cool-fermented with a few hours skin contact giving the wine its pretty-in-pastel-pink hue. Chill and enjoy it through 2025. Rosé food pairings: veal scallopini, pork tenderloin, green salads. Drink: 2024 - 2025 21585 12.5% D 750 mL $19.95 Score: 92/100. April 2024.
