Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Shows ripe plum, cherry, vanilla and subtle oak. Well-balanced and harmonious, it's a delicious match for duck or roast pork. This is excellent value, so best to grab more than one bottle!

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Beaujolais to the bone and probably partial carbonic (tons of colour and low astringency). Fleurie is often called the most feminine of the Beauj crus.. Whatever that means, Fleurie does have a very signature inviting florality that sets it apart. This is a pretty approachable one.
The plastic closure might prevent it from being the sort of Beaujolais you age for any period of time, but it is pretty great now.
Deep purple. A lovely violet and red pepper nose.
Flavours of plum and blackberry. Juicy and refreshing. An absolutely fun and versatile pairing wine. Perfect for poultry, pork, roast veg, or even light pasta.
From Vaucher Père & Fils, their 2015 medium-bodied Tempranillo is great value under $20. Lots of florals on the nose with ripe berry fruit. On the palate, look for ripe red currant, plum, black currant and peppery spice flavours. Flavoursome and supple with a mouth-watering finish. Great acidity for food. Try it with a meaty game stew or meatlover's pizza. - Community Wine Reviews
