Supple, seductive and fleshy ripe red berries on the nose and palate of this ultra-smooth, round and lip-smacking delicious southern Californian Pinot Noir. Sweet cherries emerge on the finish. Medium-bodied, juicy and supple with silky texture. Great price.

Pinot Noir food pairings: rack of lamb, pesto pasta with grilled lamb, beef stew.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Bright cherry and earthiness on the nose, ripe cherry, raspberry, smoke and tobacco lead to a long earthy cherry finish.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Rustic and delicious! Stewed black cherry, spice, leather and earthy underbrush notes dominate the flavours. A classic cool Pacific Coast California Pinot Noir and a food-friendly wine. Enjoy with hearty stews and braises. Tasted Oct 2017 by @sommsosa | @sommguidetravels
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich, round and ripe, earthy, with aged leather, ripe raspberry, dark cherry. Medium body, well balanced medium acidity, tannins and alcohol. Paired well with braised mergez sausage, and would suggest it equally well with roast rack of lamb or cedar plank salmon. Tasted 2014 in Oct 2017. 90 points. @BespokeTastings
From Monterey County, Talbott Kali Hart (2014) is a medium-bodied, supple and silky Pinot Noir . Juicy red cherries, ripe red plums, chocolate and dried green herbs wrapped up in good acidity. Tannins are easygoing. The Pinot Noir was named for Rob Talbott’s daughter, the Kali Hart.). - Community Wine Reviews
