From Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley wine region, Sokol Blosser 2019 Pinot Noir is such a lovely PN. Fresh on the nose, dry, full-bodied and zesty on the palate with juicy red berry fruit, red plum, cherry, sweet baking spice and dried fine herb flavours. From a producer known for championing sustainable and organic farming practices. Good now, but would benefit from some mellowing time in cellar. Try in 2024 when it will begin to show its best. Pour with rack of lamb.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roasted pork loin, veal medallions, lamb in a red wine sauce, beef bourguignon, coq au vin.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
