From the Alexander Valley, Sonoma County wine region, Robert Young 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a fresh and earthy Cab with ripe red berry, cherry, blueberry and toasty oak spice flavours finishing long on the palate. Tannins are velvety. Pour with ribs and steaks from the grill.

Simon Chen rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

OMG! This is probably the best California Cab you can find for this price. At $60 at LCBO, this wine has everything you wish for for an old-school California cab. It is not overly oaked and has the Sonoma-characteristics of green pepper and freshness. Big structure, long fish, and grippy tannin. I would guess this is a $100+ cab at a blind tasting. Definitely, a wine to keep for 10+ years.
From the Alexander Valley, Sonoma County wine region, Robert Young 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is fresh on the palate with red cherry, blueberry earthy, fine herb and sweet toasty oak spice flavours. Although still quite youthful, tannins are long and velvety. - Community Wine Reviews
